Opus Medical is seeking a Nurse liaison to coordinate care and communicate medical information among the Injured Worker, the Insured, and the Carrier to facilitate treatment, rehabilitation, and return to work. This is a remote, field-based role with regular local travel up to 2 hours in your region.

The role requires an active RN license (US), state licensure where field case management is provided, and nursing education.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license.
• Discipline eligibility to practice in US state(s) where field case management is provided.
• Completion of a nursing program; ongoing CE as required.
• Certification within 4 years of hire preferred (e.g., CCM, CRC, CLNC, CRRN).
• Two years of FTE direct case management for injured workers or two years under supervision preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate care and communicate pertinent medical information among involved parties.
• Accept referrals and follow CM plan; schedule assessments and follow-up.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Injured Worker, Insured, and Carrier.
• Record data and billing in CaseAnyplace; submit monthly reports.
• Attend physician appointments; collect diagnoses, prognosis, and treatment plans; estimate RTW.
• Refer to Vocational Counselor for job analyses when appropriate and approved.
• Refer to IME physicians; coordinate and attend IMEs.
• Provide translation as needed for bilingual nurses.
• Promote teamwork with all staff; maximize billable hours.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and required annual training.
