Job summary

GE Vernova's FieldCore Service Solutions Canada is seeking a Lead TFA (Level III) to manage and coordinate on-site activities at customer power facilities, including planning, organizing, and monitoring resources to meet contractual requirements.

The role involves installing systems, performing preventive maintenance, responding to emergencies, mentoring team members, and preparing technical reports while maintaining safety standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in a Field Services role.
• 7+ years in field services or power generation equipment maintenance.
• Successful completion of Level III training programs.
• Strong ability to read/interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams, and perform dial/laser alignment; understand thermal growth.
• Extensive travel to field sites will be required.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Manage, perform and coordinate site activities.
• On-site installation and preventive maintenance, repair and calibration after installation.
• Respond to emergency repairs and services.
• Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives at their sites.
• Write technical reports, materials orders, quotations, and job status reports; complete time and expense sheets.
• Sign off on changes implemented and drive customer satisfaction with quality.
• Maintain safety and compliance with GE safety standards.
• Mentor and train other team members on field engineering and product knowledge.
• Prepare timely reports for customer records and future outages.
• Ensure all parts are shipped to the site.
• Perform walk-downs during installation to verify contractor work.
• Perform aftermarket upgrades at the site.
• Be available for overtime, holidays and weekends as required.
