Job summary

FieldCore in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a Lead TFA with Level III competencies to help manage site activities, planning, coordinating labor, tools, and technical assistants to meet contractual requirements at customer power facilities.

The role entails on-site installation, preventive maintenance, calibration, emergency repairs, and delivering clear technical reports, while coaching teammates and upholding GE safety standards through extensive travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of field services or power generation maintenance experience.
• Strong ability to read electrical/mechanical diagrams and perform alignments.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage, perform, and coordinate site activities.
• Install systems and perform preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration.
• Respond to emergency repairs at customer sites.
• Provide technical instruction to customer representatives.
• Prepare technical reports, quotes, and time/expense sheets in a timely manner.
• Ensure parts are shipped to the site and sign off on changes.
• Drive customer satisfaction with safety and quality.
• Mentor and coach other team members.
• Perform site walk-downs and coordinate with customer contractors.
• Conduct aftermarket upgrades as needed.
