Job summary

ORR Protection is seeking experienced field supervision for the installation and service of fire alarm and clean-agent/special-hazard suppression systems. You will lead on job sites, coordinate with project management, and ensure compliance through proper documentation.

The role requires five years in fire alarm systems, programming experience, and the ability to travel frequently. High school diploma is required; NICET or related licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience in service and/or installation of fire alarm or special hazard fire suppression systems.
• Experience reading blue prints.
• Fire alarm programming experience.
• NICET certification preferred.
• FASA/BASA license preferred.
• Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install fire alarm and clean-agent/special-hazard suppression systems in accordance with ORR work instructions and applicable codes.
• Take a lead role at customer sites, providing oversight and direction to other ORR technicians or subcontractors.
• Work with the Project Manager and Install Coordinator to keep the customer informed on job progress.
• Complete all necessary job-related paperwork for compliance and documentation.
• Respond to emergency service requests and take appropriate action.
• Perform in-depth troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of system equipment.
• Conduct training with the customer on the functionality of the fire system.
• Other duties as assigned.
