Job summary

ORR Protection is seeking a Superintendent - Fire Alarm to lead on-site installations of fire alarm and clean agent/special hazard suppression systems. You will oversee ORR technicians and subcontractors to ensure quality work and customer service. Must reside in or near the Shreveport, LA area.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Project Manager, performing installs, troubleshooting, training customers, and handling compliance documentation. Occasional travel and on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent must be obtained.
• Five years' experience in service and/or installation of fire alarm or special hazard systems.
• Experience reading blueprints and fire alarm programming experience.
• NICET certification preferred; associate degree in electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations of fire alarm and related systems on site.
• Lead on customer sites and supervise technicians and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to update customers on progress.
• Complete compliance paperwork and report documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and perform troubleshooting and repairs.
• Train customers on system functionality.
