Job summary

ORR Protection is seeking a Superintendents - Fire Alarm for the Orlando, FL area. You will lead field installations of fire alarm and special hazard systems, oversee technicians, and coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires extensive experience in fire alarm systems, strong leadership, and the ability to train customers on system functionality. Travel up to 25% and on-site deployments from a home base are expected.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Five years' experience in service and/or installation of fire alarm or special hazard fire suppression systems.
Experience reading blue prints.
Fire alarm programming experience.
NICET certification, preferred.
FASA/BASA license, preferred.
Experience with manufacturers: Kidde, Fenwal, Notifier, Fike, FCI, preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform installations of fire alarm and clean agent/special hazard suppression systems according to ORR work instructions and applicable codes.
Take a lead role at customer sites, providing oversight and direction to other ORR technicians or sub-contractors.
Work with the Project Manager and Install Coordinator to keep the customer informed on job progress.
Complete all necessary job-related paperwork for compliance and documentation.
Respond to emergency service requests and take appropriate action.
Perform in-depth troubleshooting, repair and replacement of system equipment.
Conduct training with customer on the functionality of the fire system.
Other duties as assigned.
