Job summary

ORR Protection seeks a Superintendent - Fire Alarm to lead field installations and service for fire alarm and clean agent systems. The role is based in the Atlanta, GA area, with responsibilities including coordinating with project managers, providing on-site leadership, and ensuring quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have five years of fire alarm experience, blueprint reading, and fire alarm programming skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Five years' experience in service and/or installation of fire alarm or special hazard fire suppression systems is required.
• Experience reading blueprints is required.
• Fire alarm programming experience is required.
• FASA/BASA license is preferred.
• Associate degree in electronics or related field is preferred.
• NICET (Fire Alarm / Special Hazard) certification is preferred.
• Experience with manufacturers such as Kidde, Fenwal, Notifier, Fike, FCI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead on job sites, providing oversight and direction to other ORR technicians or subcontractors.
• Perform installations of fire alarm and clean agent/special hazard suppression systems.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and Install Coordinator to inform the customer on progress.
• Complete all required job-related paperwork for compliance and documentation.
• Respond to emergency service requests and take appropriate action.
• Perform in-depth troubleshooting, repair and replacement of system equipment.
• Conduct training with customers on the functionality of the fire system.
• Other duties as assigned.
