Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Field IT Engineer to ensure effective IT operations at field locations in alignment with business objectives. You will plan, coordinate and implement IT activities, communicating plans and issues between IT management and field locations.

The role requires 2–4 years in decentralized IT support, CCNA, and Cisco VOIP/UCCE experience, with up to 75% travel in CO/UT and remote-work options on non-travel days.

Qualifications

• 4 years of computer network experience.
• Experience with Cisco VOIP/UCCE.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide level two support for WANs, LANs, field servers and field applications.
• Act as liaison between field staff, management, vendors and Corporate IT.
• Identify and report proactive solutions for cost savings and efficiency at field locations.
• Participate in installation, replacement, disposal of field computer hardware.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure at field locations.
• Troubleshoot and administer Cisco VOIP systems including user changes.
• Coordinate with 3rd party consultants as required.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships to coordinate IT services.
• Provide timely reports on activities as directed by management.
