Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Engineer to implement complex communications systems and provide on-site and remote support across multiple states.

The role combines design, testing, installation, and documentation of RF, data, and IP network infrastructure, with significant travel (50-75%) to OH, WI, MI, MN, SD, ND. Remote work is possible, but relocation to OH may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in technical or engineering discipline with 4+ years of experience, or 6+ years related experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
• Remote position with travel 50-75% to OH, WI, MI, MN, SD, ND; relocation to OH possible.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and document advanced communication systems.
• Provide weekly reports of activities and accomplishments.
• Oversee onsite installation of network, server, and RF equipment.
• Provide as-built information for final documentation.
• Troubleshoot networks, servers, databases, and RF infrastructure on-site and remotely.
• Verify test results and performance of RF and data systems.
