UL Solutions is seeking a talented Field Engineer to support our Product Safety Field Evaluation Team from a home-based position in the Chicago area. You will manage engineering projects with minimal supervision, develop UL requirements, test methods and equipment for complex products.

Qualifications include an accredited engineering degree, expert knowledge of Building Codes, NEC and field evaluations, eight years of directly related experience, and hands-on use of electrical test equipment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from an accredited university.
• Expert knowledge of Building Codes, NEC, Field evaluations, conformity standards and the NEC.
• Demonstrated ability to apply project-handling concepts to complex, new, or modified products in the field.
• Experience with electrical test equipment and conducting electrical tests on products.
• Working knowledge of industry issues and needs.
• Eight years of directly related experience.

• Manage execution and timely completion of engineering projects with minimum supervision.
