Job summary

UL Solutions in Denver, CO seeks a Field Engineer to manage complex product field evaluations, develop UL requirements and test methods, and travel to customers as required.

You will work with building codes, NEC, and conformity standards, supervise project scope, and engage with clients and AHJs. Minimum eight years’ experience and ability to work remotely nationwide with extensive travel.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Technology degree from an accredited university.
• Expert knowledge of NEC, Building Codes, Regulatory and conformity standards.
• Eight years of directly related experience.
• Experience with Hazard Based Engineering concepts and electrical testing.

Responsibilities

• Determine project scope, develop plan, and supervise on-site evaluations with frequent travel.
• Communicate with clients and AHJs to discuss requirements and timelines.
• Provide technical assistance and represent UL at meetings on code topics.
• Develop test requirements and methods for new product categories.
• Promote continuous improvement and adhere to UL Code of Conduct.
