Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Implementation Services Field Engineering Manager based in the U.S. to lead the CRM Field Engineering team.

You will manage resources, mentor engineers, and drive successful CAD/RMS deployments for public safety projects while collaborating with cross-functional partners. The role requires 5+ years in technical leadership, strong communication, and a background in server hardware, operating systems, and networking.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience as a Field Engineer, Systems Engineer, or a Manager in a technical environment.
• Must be proficient in installing and advanced troubleshooting of server hardware, operating systems, and software infrastructure to resolve system and application-level issues.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Strategically manage team resources to align the team size and composition with current and projected workload.
• Drive talent acquisition and retention by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding qualified new talent to expand or replace team members as needed.
• Oversee performance management—recognizing and rewarding top performers while coaching and developing those who need improvement.
• Serve as a dedicated mentor for junior Field Engineers, ensuring they receive necessary training and direction.
• Promote career growth by encouraging internal and cross-functional development across the organization.
