Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Chicago seeks a CRM Field Engineering Team Lead to guide the CAD/Records Management deployment group and mentor junior engineers.

You will oversee resources, budgets, and performance, collaborating with sales and engineering to ensure successful customer implementations and on-time delivery. The role demands strong communication and PremierOne experience, plus a technical degree and security clearance where required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical leadership/engineering environment (FE/Manager).
• Experience leading field engineering teams or similar.
• PremierOne experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, resources and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Strategically manage team resources to align size with workload.
• Drive talent acquisition and onboarding to expand or replace team members.
• Oversee performance management and coach team members.
• Mentor junior Field Engineers and provide training and development.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available and maintained.
• Monitor project budgets and allocate resources for optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, project, product, and service managers.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
• Own department financial performance including budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and government requirements.
