Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a technically skilled engineer to design, implement, and support advanced RF and network systems. The role involves close collaboration with Systems Engineering, Project Management, and Sales to meet customer expectations and deliver robust installations.

Travel 50-75% within the territory to OH and surrounding states; relocation to OH is required. Strong emphasis on documentation, testing, and post-install support.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in a technical/engineering field.
• 4+ years of technical/engineering experience OR 6+ years total work experience.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% to support projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, optimize, test, cutover, and document advanced communication systems.
• Provide weekly activity reports and maintain documentation packages.
• Oversee onsite installation of network, server, and RF equipment.
• Configure networks, servers, RF, and databases onsite and remotely.
• Perform troubleshooting and validation using system logs and test plans.
• Produce final system documentation and as-configured baselines.
