Job summary

Advanced Integration Technology is seeking an Electrician and Controls Field Engineer for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, panels, and equipment. You will troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and numerical controls, ensuring compliance with safety standards on site.

Highly collaborative, travel-intensive role requiring strong problem-solving and documentation skills. The ideal candidate has solid industrial electrical experience, PLC/HMI knowledge, and the ability to interpret

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record as an industrial electrician.
• Technician Certification or Associate degree in a related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree, PE or SSE in electrical/manufacturing/mechanical engineering preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, equipment, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and network interfaces.
• Receive wiring diagrams and instructions for repair, installation, and inspection tasks.
• Initiate equipment start-up and shutdown following safety and OSHA protocols.
• Develop site-specific procedures and document troubleshooting steps and root causes.
• Maintain training documentation for supported control systems and assist engineering colleagues.
