Job summary

ELEKS is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support a US-based industrial automation client. The role is remote within the USA, with travel to customer sites as required to deploy and support software in real-world environments.

You will lead on-premises deployments, configure OT networks, troubleshoot connectivity, and ensure alignment with Purdue security models and best practices for OT security. Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with PLCs/HMIs are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Field Applications Engineering or similar customer-facing role.
• Hands-on experience with OT networking, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial automation systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills; experience with Python, SQL, or scripting.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-premises deployments and installations of industrial automation software at customer sites.
• Configure and troubleshoot OT network connectivity, infrastructure, and integration with existing industrial systems.
• Ensure deployments align with Purdue security model and OT network security best practices.
