Job summary

Henpen Corporation seeks a Field Application Engineer to support regional sales by understanding customer needs and recommending embedded computing solutions. You will bridge customers, sales, and internal teams, providing pre-sales support and ongoing technical assistance.

The role covers FPGA/DSP-based hardware, RF and analog tech, and requires frequent travel within the Texas region and Canada. A bachelor's degree and 3+ years in a similar technical role are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years in Field Applications Engineering, Technical Sales Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar customer-facing roles.
• Strong technical understanding of hardware/software integration and embedded computing systems.
• Experience gathering customer requirements and translating them into technical requirements or product recommendations.
• Proven ability to provide technical sales support and collaborate with regional sales managers.
• Experience presenting technical information, product capabilities, and solutions to customers.
• Strong understanding of FPGA/DSP-based embedded hardware and RF/analog tech.

Responsibilities

• Support regional sales managers by understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable technical solutions.
• Present products and roadmaps to customers and internal teams.
• Act as the technical bridge between customers, sales, and engineering for pre-sales engagements.
• Provide ongoing technical assistance throughout the customer relationship and lifecycle.
