Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Field Applications Engineer - FPGA specialist to collaborate with regional sales teams and customers on complex FPGA-based designs. You will translate customer needs into technical solutions, provide post-sale support, and drive demand creation for our FPGA product lines.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of electronics design experience with FPGA expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work remotely with occasional on-site customer visits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electronic design experience with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Must have experience designing with FPGA’s (HDL, Simulation, Verification, etc…).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Sales experience is beneficial in this role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Arrow sales teams in local branches across your assigned region in pre-and post-sales activities.
• Provide technical support and consulting to promote demand creation.
• Provide an escalation path to local Arrow FAEs for support of top opportunities in assigned region.
• Work with customers to develop a thorough understanding of their design requirements at both a system and component level.
• Attend supplier trainings in-person and via conference calls; demonstrate understanding of supplier technologies and market needs.
• Provide training to Arrow sales teams on new products and help market these products to the appropriate customers.
• Manage supplier and customer expectations by building relationships and keeping stakeholders up to date on activities, plans, and progress towards initiatives.
• Meet with customers both on-site and virtually.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
