Your Role with the Company

As a Field Application Engineer, you will support regional sales managers by understanding customer requirements, recommending appropriate technical solutions, and presenting products and technology roadmaps.

You will act as the technical bridge between customers, sales, and internal teams, supporting pre-sales engagements and providing technical assistance throughout the customer relationship.

Background Profile

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Field Applications Engineering, Technical Sales Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable customer-facing technical role.

• Strong technical understanding of hardware/software integration and embedded computing systems.

• Experience gathering customer requirements and translating customer needs into technical requirements or product recommendations.

• Proven ability to provide technical sales support and collaborate with regional sales managers.

• Experience presenting technical information, product capabilities, and solutions to customers.

• Strong understanding of FPGA/DSP-based embedded hardware.

• Strong understanding of RF and analog technologies.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Customer-focused, self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.

• Willingness and ability to travel 50% or more, including overnight and multi-day trips.

• Ability to travel regularly, often approximately two weeks per month depending on customer demand.

• Experience supporting aerospace and defense customers.

• Familiarity with open-architecture computing platforms and standards, such as: VPX / OpenVPX, SOSA and MOSA, PCIe, Graphics/GPU computing

• Salary Range: $130,000 - $165,000
