Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Field Application Specialist for a remote-based role, supporting customers with Incucyte live-cell analysis systems and pre-sales activities. The ideal candidate will travel up to 15% and be located near New York, NY or Boston, MA, enabling on-site demos, training, and collaboration with sales teams.

Responsibilities include conducting demonstrations, training lab staff, and providing remote support to ensure customer success across multiple applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science Biology or related field required.
• 2+ years field experience in a similar application scientist/technical support role.
• 2+ years of experience training lab personnel in using instruments and software.
• Extensive experience in cell biology, cell culture, microscopy techniques and image analysis.
• Experience with immune oncology, organoid-based assays, and/or image-based viability assays preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and use of Sartorius Incucyte instruments, reagents, consumables, and software modules.
• Identify customer needs and introduce solutions where appropriate.
• Perform product demonstrations with detailed experimental plans and training.
• Conduct on-site training and remote support sessions for Incucyte instrumentation and software.
• Support ongoing assays and expand into new application areas using Sartorius technology.
• Maintain records of customer interactions and training in the CRM database.
• Expect up to 15% overnight travel on business days.
