Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences is seeking a Field Applications Specialist to serve as the primary scientific resource for our cell analysis portfolio across the Eastern U.S. This remote role requires extensive field engagement with biopharma and cell development customers, guiding workflows, validating assays, and delivering on-site trainings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related life science field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant life sciences experience in field applications, technical support, or lab/bioprocess.
• Hands-on mammalian cell culture experience including fed-batch culture and viability.
• Working knowledge of cell counting and viability analysis; troubleshooting across cell types.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Eastern U.S. territory (up to 85%) with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary applications and scientific resource for customers across Eastern U.S. biopharma and cell development.
• Guide customers to reliable, optimized measurements and workflows.
• Deliver product demonstrations and on-site trainings; provide field and web-based support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, and R&D to resolve issues.
• Capture Voice of Customer and relay to Product Management and R&D for future iterations.
