Job summary

DEWESoft USA is seeking an Application Engineer for field industrial and electrical systems. This remote role supports customers across the U.S. and Canada, traveling up to 75% to install, demo, and diagnose DEWESoft DAQ platforms at customer sites.

You will configure multi-channel DAQ setups, integrate with VFDs, PLCs, encoders, and sensors, and act as the technical bridge between sales and engineering. A strong background in electrical engineering and hands-on field experience is essential.

Qualifications

5–7 years of hands-on field or test engineering experience.
Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation/Controls, Mechatronics, or related STEM field.
Experience with high-speed measurement and industrial diagnostics is preferred.
Ability to travel 50–75% across the U.S./Canada.

Responsibilities

Architect tailored test configurations with automation engineers, system integrators, and OEMs to configure multi-channel DAQ setups.
Run live proofs of concept in the field connecting DAQ platforms to VFDs, PLCs, encoders, and sensor arrays.
Bridge the gap between DAQ and automation by integrating high-speed data capture with plant-floor systems using CAN bus, Modbus, OPC UA, and EtherCAT.
Co-pilot the sales process by supporting regional sales as the primary technical expert during demonstrations and client training.
Guide product R&D by feeding back from industrial engineers to influence hardware modules and software features.
