Job summary

REAMCO, LLC is seeking an Electrical Field Service Technician to perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of industrial systems at customer sites. This role requires extensive travel and direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting power distribution, interpreting schematics, mentoring junior technicians, and supporting retrofits while ensuring safety and meticulous project documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• 3+ years of field service experience in electrical systems or industrial automation.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and electrical safety best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with electrical testing tools such as multimeters, insulation testers, and oscilloscopes.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Travel up to 50–75% as required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment, including power distribution and control panels.
• Perform advanced electrical diagnostics and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians and ensure safety procedures.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Support commissioning of new equipment and assist with retrofits or upgrades.
• Prepare detailed service reports and maintain project documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to resolve complex technical issues.
