Job summary

Universal Technical Institute is seeking a Field Admissions Representative to recruit students and build awareness of its programs within a 120-mile radius of Austin, TX. The role involves in-person high school presentations, CRM follow-up, and traveling to events to engage prospective students and families.

The position is remote yet requires residing in the Austin area. You will manage your schedule, conduct school visits, and work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Experience with public speaking preferred.
• Industry knowledge preferred.
• 3 - 5 years outside sales experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and sales skills.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to analyze and report data.
• Interpersonal skills: builds effective relationships, works independently, fast paced environment, customer service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Building relationships with dealerships, industry partners, high schools, and local communities.
• Conducts in-person presentations at high schools and offsite events.
• Maintains CRM database for thorough follow-up with potential students.
• Presents program information to educators and students to encourage enrollment.
• Keeps knowledge of programs, financing options, and other pertinent information to answer questions.
• Meets or exceeds monthly and quarterly enrollment goals.
• Adheres to compliance criteria and procedures.
• Other duties as necessary.
