Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Fiber Validation Analyst to remotely support fiber network deployment from Atlanta, GA. You will validate fiber infrastructure, review OTDR test results, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and assist field engineers throughout deployment activities.

The role requires hands-on fiber testing experience, strong OTDR knowledge, and excellent analytical and communication skills to ensure accurate testing records and clear findings for project teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on fiber testing and validation experience.
• Strong OTDR testing knowledge.
• Experience supporting ISP/OSP environments.
• Ability to interpret fiber routing documentation.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review OTDR reports and validate fiber paths.
• Investigate signal loss, attenuation, and connectivity issues.
• Verify splice points, patch panels, ODFs, and terminations.
• Support field engineers with remote troubleshooting.
• Review network documentation and maintain accurate testing records.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to project teams.
