Niels Fugal & Sons is seeking an organized Project Coordinator to support fiber overbuild construction operations. You will coordinate subcontractors, field supervisors, inspectors, and customer representatives to move projects from permitting into construction and through completion.

The role involves managing project data, assigning crews, monitoring schedules, reviewing subcontractor billing, and delivering accurate construction documentation.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree, vocational training, or technical education in telecommunications or related field preferred.
• One to two years of administrative, construction coordination, telecommunications, utility, or related experience preferred.
• Experience working with field crews, project tracking systems, construction billing, or project documentation is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Accurate data entry and recordkeeping; ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Working knowledge of fiber-optic construction terminology preferred.
• Ability to interpret construction plans, maps, permits, and project documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, email, document management, and project tracking platforms.
• Experience with Quickbase, Google Workspace, Basecamp, or similar systems is beneficial.
• Strong communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify inconsistent information, recognize scheduling conflicts, and elevate issues appropriately.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with field and management teams.

Responsabilidades

• Project Coordination & Data Management: maintain accurate project records and status updates.
• Crew Scheduling & Construction Operations: assign boring and fiber placement subcontractors based on deadlines, availability, and priorities.
• Billing Review & Quality Control: review subcontractor billing for completeness, accuracy, and consistency with reported work.
• Project Closeout & Documentation: collect construction redlines and ensure complete documentation delivered to the customer.
• Communication & Collaboration: coordinate with subcontractors, customers, and field personnel; manage escalations.
