Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Loss Mitigation FHA Claims Specialist who can work remotely from home in the United States. The role focuses on preparing, filing, and following up on FHA/HUD claims with precise adherence to guidelines and timelines.

Target pay range is $23.00–$26.00 per hour, reflecting the market for experienced mortgage servicing professionals. The position requires 1–2 years of mortgage servicing default experience, FHA claims familiarity, and strong communication

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years mortgage servicing default experience.
• FHA claims experience preferred.
• Understanding the loss mitigation and claims process.
• Excellent written and oral communication and time management.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and file HUD claims timely and accurately.
• Follow up on all claim proceeds.
• Perform loan level reconciliations of claim amounts.
• Provide posting instructions within 24 hours of receipt.
• Maintain HUD audit file and imaging of documents.
• Document all servicing actions and communications.
