Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Eligibility Verification Specialist to support FEHB/PSHB enrollment verification for OPM. This role handles inbound calls, assists with portal access and document submission, and ensures privacy and accuracy in all interactions.

The CSR II position requires a High School diploma with at least 6 months of customer service experience, and the candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Moderate Risk Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Moderate Risk Public Trust (5C) suitability determination.
• U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

• Provides inbound telephone support to FEHB/PSHB enrollees for dependent eligibility verification and program requirements.
• Assists enrollees with Portal access, login issues, and document upload using approved scripts and knowledge resources.
• Authenticates callers before sharing case information and protects PII/PHI per privacy requirements.
• Documents each interaction accurately in the FEHB Portal or other approved system of record.
• Escalates complex questions, language or accessibility needs, and potential fraud indicators per procedures.
• Meets attendance, schedule adherence, call quality, and documentation accuracy standards.
