Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Eligibility Verification Specialist to support FEHB/PSHB enrollment for the OPM program. This CSR II role handles inbound calls, answers basic eligibility questions, and guides enrollees through portal access, document submission, and status checks.

The position requires a high school diploma with 6 months of customer service experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a public trust clearance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience.
• Ability to obtain a Moderate Risk Public Trust suitability determination.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Provide inbound customer service for FEHB/PSHB eligibility questions via multiple channels.
• Assist enrollees with Portal access, document submission, and navigation.
• Authenticate callers and protect PII/PHI per privacy requirements.
• Document interactions in the FEHB Portal and other systems.
• Escalate complex questions per procedures.
• Meet attendance, schedule, call quality, and accuracy standards.
