Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. seeks a Feed Sales Representative - Cattle to grow the livestock and lifestyle product portfolio.

This role focuses on expanding customer relationships, promoting feeding programs, and delivering exceptional service across the Southwest Missouri territory through remote field visits. You will travel 5-10% overnight, visit 25+ farms weekly, collaborate with dealers, and lead product demonstrations while building market knowledge and driving growth with a base salary plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness or related field strongly desired.
• 3–5 years industry experience or farm experience equivalent to sales experience or education.
• Ability to formulate feed related to Grass Cattle.
• Strong sales drive with experience making frequent customer calls.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Make 25+ farm visits weekly to assess feeding programs and recommend solutions.
• Drive sales by introducing new feed products and supporting customers.
• Build relationships with dealers and Purina experts.
• Lead educational events and demos to promote products.
• Manage customer data and use analytics to deepen market knowledge.
• Collaborate with internal teams and participate in meetings and training.
• Coordinate logistics and event materials with dealers and cross-functional teams.
• Grow business by executing sales plans and growth opportunities.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and adapt to changing needs.
