Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst for the Veterans Affairs program. This remote, U.S.-based role focuses on capturing and detailing business and user requirements for software development teams operating within SAFe Agile processes.

You will lead interviews, document user stories, manage Jira/ALM artifacts, and ensure traceability across requirements, tests, and risks while coordinating with stakeholders and Systems Engineers to deliver quality solutions on

Strong background in software development and SAFe.
Excellent oral and written communication with the ability to explain complex topics to varied audiences.
Experience with JIRA and ALM tools; ability to manage requirements and traceability.

Responsibilities

Lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams.
Collaborate with business users, IT, and leadership to document requirements in an ALM tool.
Manage requirements in an ALM tool and perform Agile requirement management for a product team.
Develop and maintain backlog items, acceptance criteria, and traceability across requirements, test cases, and risks.
Coordinate with Systems Engineers to assess impact on technical solutions and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
