Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Systems Field Engineer to join their federal team. This role is remote/virtual with extensive travel, primarily serving clients in the United States. The position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $105,000 with additional bonus eligibility.

Key responsibilities include leading project execution, managing technical tasks, and ensuring compliance with standards. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in the electronic security industry and strong technical skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience in the commercial or industrial electronic security industry.
• Technical, hands-on experience with systems design, commissioning, and programming of electronic security systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site project leader to plan and execute electronic security projects.
• Manage hardware design, software programming, and commissioning.
• Communicate project status to management and assist with monthly forecasts.

Skills

Field experience in commercial electronic security

Technical hands-on experience in systems design

Ability to communicate technical material

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Education

Electronics certification from an accredited technical school

Lenel certification
