Safeware, Inc. is seeking a Director of Federal Sales to drive growth, profitability, and leadership within the Federal Sector. You will oversee a team of sales professionals, setting strategy and ensuring excellence across all federal market segments.

The role involves collaboration with multiple departments and requires deep knowledge of federal procurement processes and contract vehicles. The position is remote, based near Lanham, MD, with travel within the United States as needed to engage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Minimum of five years of government sales experience, proven work experience in sales management or relevant senior sales role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal procurement processes and government contract vehicles.
• Ability to work well with teams.

Responsabilités

• Manages a team of sales professionals and is responsible for their performance, development and success.
• Leads strategy, revenue growth, talent development and operational excellence across federal market segments.
• Develops and maintains relationships with federal agencies and strategic customers to ensure growth.
• Ensures CRM adoption, data integrity, pipeline accuracy, forecasting, and consistent utilization across the federal sales organization.
• Develops and executes the federal contract strategy and guides customers on purchasing options.
• Travel within the US as required.
