Job summary

ProVets Consulting Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to lead the end-to-end development of federal proposals. You will guide contributors from solicitation release through final submission, coordinating with leadership, SMEs, pricing, and partners in a remote-capable role within the DC metropolitan area.

This hands-on position requires strong writing/editing, a solid understanding of FAR, and the ability to manage schedules, content, and reviews to produce compelling,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proposal development experience for U.S. federal opportunities.
• Experience writing for professional services—technical, management, staffing, past performance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Working knowledge of FAR related to proposal prep and compliance.
• Ability to interpret solicitations and translate into actionable plans.
• Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills for compliant submissions.
• Experience managing color team reviews and coordinating reviewers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, Sources Sought, and task orders.
• Develop schedules, compliance matrices, outlines, and submission checklists.
• Coordinate contributions from SMEs, pricing, subcontractors, and partners.
• Conduct kickoff meetings, track progress, and report risks to leadership.
• Write and edit executive summaries, management approaches, staffing, and past performance.
• Ensure consistency between technical, staffing, and pricing volumes.
• Oversee final document production and submission in required format.
