Job summary

Remote Jobs is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to lead the development of winning federal proposals from RFP analysis through final submission. This fully remote, full-time position supports multiple federal agencies and contract vehicles, based in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of federal proposal experience and a strong grasp of FAR/DFARS. You will write, edit, and coordinate with capture managers, pricing analysts, and contracts teams to ensure compliant,

Qualifications

3+ years of federal proposal management experience.
Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and IDIQ/GWAC structures.
Excellent writing and editing skills for technical content.

Responsibilities

Lead all phases of proposal development from RFP analysis to submission.
Create schedules, compliance matrices, and outline documents.
Coordinate color team reviews and incorporate feedback into final documents.
Collaborate with capture managers, pricing, and contracts teams to produce competitive proposals.
Draft and review executive summaries, management volumes, technical narratives, and past performance sections.
Ensure compliance with solicitation instructions and evaluation criteria.
Manage multiple proposals concurrently and maintain organized proposal libraries.
Lead lessons learned after submissions to improve processes.
