AE Works is actively seeking a Federal Proposal Manager to lead complex federal proposals from inception to submission. The role requires strategic oversight, outstanding writing and editing, and coordination across technical, marketing, and leadership teams.

We value a self-driven leader with proven success in an Architect-Engineer setting, capable of directing multiple proposal efforts while also writing and polishing content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field
• 10 years of experience in proposal development
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, with familiarity in proposal management software
• Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead development and coordination of complex federal proposals; ensure client requirements are met
• Craft proposal content that communicates value, edit for clarity and compliance
• Collaborate with technical staff, marketing and leadership for insights
• Research prospective clients, competitors, and market trends to inform strategy
• Ensure proposals meet high quality standards and align with brand messaging
• continuously refine the proposal process with best practices
