AE Works seeks a Federal Proposal Manager to lead complex government proposals from inception to submission in a dynamic Architecture & Engineering setting. You will guide strategy, manage schedules, and drive content across cross-functional teams.

The role requires a track record of successful federal proposals, strong writing and project management, and the ability to coordinate multiple pursuits in a hybrid Pittsburgh, PA or Washington, DC environment with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
• 10 years of experience in proposal development.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite, with familiarity in proposal management software.
• Ability to manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and coordination of complex proposals, ensuring client requirements are met.
• Craft compelling proposal content and edit materials for clarity and compliance.
• Collaborate with technical staff, marketing, and leadership to gather insights.
• Research prospective clients and market trends to sharpen strategies.
• Ensure high-quality, consistent proposals aligned with branding.
• Improve proposal processes based on feedback and best practices.
• Interact with clients to clarify requirements and present proposal elements.
