Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an experienced growth leader to serve as a Management Solution Architect focusing on developing management approaches, quality plans, and transition/staffing plans for federal IT proposals.

The role is 100% growth-focused with no direct customer interaction, located in Fairfax, VA and fully remote within the United States. A strong background in proposal development and federal contracting is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years leading management solutions on Federal IT proposals.
• Ability to analyze large solicitations on tight timeframes and extract requirements.
• Proven track record owning sections of competitive Federal proposals.
• Ability to craft persuasive proposal content across diverse topics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with executives, technologists and writers.
• Working knowledge of federal contracting vehicles (Alliant 2, CIO-SP3, GSA Schedules, VA T4NG).
• "Think-draw-write" content development approach.

Responsibilities

• Independently architect management-focused solutions for large federal IT programs.
• Lead analysis of solicitation requirements and produce high‑quality proposal content.
• Create complex proposal graphics and slide decks with minimal oversight.
• Coach other architects and writers throughout the proposal lifecycle.
