Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a seasoned Management Solution Architect to develop and refine management-oriented proposals for large federal IT programs. The role focuses on growth initiatives within GovCIO’s corporate growth organization, with no direct client interaction.

Location is remote within the United States, with a base in Fairfax, VA. The position requires leadership across proposal content, collaboration with SMEs, and strong writing and graphics support to win major contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience creating management solutions aligned to best practices on prime Federal IT proposals.
• Ability to analyze solicitations, synthesize customer requirements, and craft foundational management solution elements.
• Experience owning sections of competitive Federal proposals and coordinating with SMEs to build solutions from concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecting management-focused solutions and content for large federal IT programs (e.g., $100M+).
• Create high-quality proposal content for approach elements like technical transition, IT program management, and IT performance/quality management.
• Collaborate with graphic artists to develop proposal graphics and slide decks that tie management concepts to client needs.
• Coach other architects and authors through the proposal lifecycle to improve content quality.
