Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an experienced Management Solution Architect focused on developing and refining management approaches and proposals for federal IT opportunities. This 100% growth-oriented role supports GovCIO's corporate growth team and does not involve direct customer interactions.

The position is located in Fairfax, VA, but is fully remote within the United States. Expect to lead content creation for high-stakes proposals, coordinate with SMEs, and drive win strategies across IT program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years experience creating management solutions aligned to best practices and demonstrated leadership on prime Federal IT proposals.
• Ability to analyze solicitations and synthesize customer requirements quickly for foundation of management solution elements.
• Proven ability to own sections of competitive Federal proposals and tailor content with SMEs.
• Experience writing, reviewing, and directing proposal sections across topics and domains.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with executives, technologists, writers, and graphics artists.
• Strong understanding of Federal procurement processes and contracting vehicles (Alliant 2, CIO-SP3, GSA Schedules).
• Proficiency in a think-draw-write content development approach.
• Ability to balance exceptional attention to detail with rapid content production.
• Urgency and commitment to deliver high-quality winning proposals in a fast-paced environment.
• Receptiveness to feedback and willingness to adjust ideas for improved outcomes.
• Humility and openness to alternate ideas.

Responsibilities

• Architect comprehensive, management-focused solutions for large Federal programs ($100M+).
• Lead analysis of solicitation requirements and craft high-quality proposal content.
• Collaborate with graphic artists to create visuals and slides linking management concepts to client needs.
• Coach and review content with other architects and authors throughout the proposal lifecycle.
