Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead the implementation of complex communication system projects across federal civil, law enforcement, and commercial customers. You will own schedules, budgets, risks, and change control while keeping stakeholders aligned and ensuring contractual objectives are met.

Qualifications include a degree plus 3+ years of PM experience (or 5+ years); US citizenship with ability to obtain clearance; PMP/CAPM are desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of project/program management or similar business experience.
• OR 5+ years of project/program management or similar business experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
• Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Leads large projects or portions of complex projects.
• Demonstrates a firm understanding of all nine areas of PMBOK project management and has expertise in two areas.
• Experienced in running project phases.
• Is able to oversee development of the complete project plan.
• Is able to establish, track, and audit project budgets, analyze variances and develop action plans as required.
• Represents the organization on projects.
• A project manager is accountable for accomplishing the stated project objectives within the stipulated time period and budget.
• Ensures that the three constraints (quality, cost and time) that face every project are properly managed.
