Job summary

Ad Hoc LLC seeks a Program Manager for Federal Financial / Regulatory Service to oversee a complex federal digital services program. You will manage strategy, execution, and client relationships across multiple projects in a fully remote environment.

You will partner with government stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery meets contractual, technical, financial, and customer expectations while maintaining high-quality outcomes. MRPT clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of experience directly managing complex technology programs, digital services, software delivery, or related technical initiatives.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary technical and delivery teams across multiple concurrent projects or workstreams.
• Demonstrated experience managing program scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, and contractual deliverables.
• Experience working directly with senior customers and stakeholders in a client-facing program leadership role.
• Experience managing program financial performance, staffing plans, resource allocation, and delivery forecasts.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and modern software or digital service delivery practices.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, communicate, and resolve complex program risks, delivery challenges, and operational issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating program status, performance, risks, and priorities to senior stakeholders.
• Must currently hold, or have recently held, a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) determination or higher-level federal security clearance (Secret or Top Secret).

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery and operational health of a complex federal technology program across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Serve as a primary point of contact and trusted partner for government program leadership, sponsors, contracting stakeholders, and technical representatives.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication, transparency, responsiveness, and reliable delivery.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across software engineering, product, design, project management, and other technical and delivery functions.
• Manage program scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risks, dependencies, contractual requirements, and overall performance.
• Establish and maintain effective delivery processes that support predictable execution, continuous improvement, and high-quality outcomes.
• Facilitate program reviews, planning sessions, status meetings, and other recurring customer and internal engagements.
• Proactively identify program risks, delivery challenges, and operational issues and drive them through resolution.
• Communicate changes to scope, schedule, staffing, budget, or delivery expectations to internal and customer stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate program reporting and visibility into milestones, deliverables, staffing, risks, dependencies, and contractual commitments.
• Manage program financial performance, including planned revenue, staffing, billable utilization, labor allocation, and gross margin in partnership with company leadership.
• Lead, manage, and mentor cross-functional team members while supporting performance management, professional development, resource planning, hiring, and onboarding.
• Partner with technical and practice leadership to ensure teams have the skills, resources, and support necessary to meet program objectives.
• Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment focused on delivery excellence and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Growth, Delivery, and Practice leadership to identify opportunities for organic account growth and expanded customer support.
• Serve as a program subject matter expert for recompete and proposal activities, contributing program knowledge, staffing strategies, technical context, past performance, and operational insights.
• Support transition planning and continuity of operations during periods of contract, staffing, or organizational change.
