Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or closely related field preferred; 10 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• 10 years experience required with applicable bachelor’s degree.
• 12 years experience required with applicable associate degree.
• 14 years experience required without a degree or applicable degree.
• Experience in Federal position evaluation, occupational classification, and job description analysis.
• Expertise in Federal laws, regulations, and practices related to Federal HR programs.

Aufgaben

• Conduct GS position classification research and desk audits, including PD review and evaluation statements.
• Apply GS classification standards to recommend title, series, and grade.
• Conduct position management studies to propose efficiency measures.
• Provide guidance to managers and staff on classification and position management issues.
• Advise management on grade distinctions and crediting criteria for positions.
• Research and respond to complex federal HR questions and regulations.
• Prepare status reports and maintain official records per compliance requirements.
