SMX seeks a Junior Federal Financial Business Analyst to join the client service delivery team, focusing on the CFO Control Tower BAS solution built for the federal government and running on SAP Analytics Cloud. This full-time, 100% remote role requires less than 20% travel and a Public Trust clearance.

You will analyze financial data, document processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive improvements in budgeting, planning, reporting, and data governance for federal clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance, accounting, information systems, data analytics, public administration or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in federal financial management, business process analysis, data analytics, or related consulting roles.
• Experience with federal government financial data and processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and in client-facing environments.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one.
