Jefferson Solutions Group is seeking a Contract Closeout Specialist to support a federal agency in a fully remote setting. The role focuses on closing out government contracts, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate final invoices and reports.

You will coordinate with contracting officers, program managers, and finance teams, perform detailed financial reconciliations, and maintain audit-ready records while aligning with FAR and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years' closeout experience, including government contracting.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Closeout government contracts, ensuring obligations are met and final payments processed.
• Ensure documentation is compliant and maintained for audit purposes.
• Coordinate with contracting officers, program managers, and stakeholders.
• Perform financial reconciliation of funding, expenditures, and payments.
• Process final invoices and resolve discrepancies with finance.
• Provide regular updates to contracting officers, the COR, and the Program Manager.
