Job summary

VisionCorps is seeking a detail‑oriented Contract Closeout Specialist to execute the closeout process under the AbilityOne program. You will prepare documents for contracting officers, maintain compliance and access to government systems, and ensure timely production and accuracy per SOPs.

The role requires a 4‑year degree with 2+ years in federal/state/commercial contracting and preferred supervisory experience. Strong communication, MS Office, FPDS-NG, and related contract tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; An additional 12 credits in business are required.
• Minimum two (2) + years’ experience in federal, state, and/or commercial contracting preferred.
• Minimum one (1) + years of demonstrated successful supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with federal contracts, state, or commercial contracts preferred.
• Experience working with commercial, state, federal civilian, and military agencies preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Ability-One program is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Execute contract close-out processes per SOPs and supervisor directions.
• Prepare closeout documents for contracting officer approval.
• Maintain training and quality standards; ensure access to government systems.
• Meet or exceed monthly production quotas and accuracy standards.
• Adhere to safety policy and organizational guidelines; confidential handling of sensitive information.
• Proficient in FPDS-NG and other contract writing systems as required.
