Job summary

Jefferson Solutions Group seeks an accomplished Senior Contracts Manager to lead its federal contracting function, overseeing a diverse portfolio of prime contracts, subcontracts, task orders, and contract vehicles from cradle to grave. You will advise executive leadership and collaborate across legal, finance, program management, and operations in a highly visible role. This remote position requires U.S.

residency and occasional travel to our Washington, D.C. office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 12+ years federal contracting or contract-management experience.
• Extensive FAR/DFARS knowledge and agency supplements.
• Experience with solicitations, negotiations, awards, and post-award administration.
• Experience with IDIQs, task orders, BPAs, and multiple-award vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Lead cradle-to-grave administration of federal contracts and related instruments.
• Review solicitations, contracts, SOWs, and modifications; identify requirements and negotiation priorities.
• Lead negotiations and interface with Contracting Officers, CORs, prime contractors, and partners.
• Interpret and apply FAR/DFARS and flow-down requirements; manage COI, cybersecurity, IP, and records retention.
• Advise executives on acquisition strategy, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage post-award actions, audits, and closeouts; support government audits.
• Collaborate with BD, Capture, Proposal, Finance, and Ops on bid/no-bid decisions and strategy.
• Oversee contract vehicles and strategic agreements; portfolio optimization.
• Maintain audit-ready files; monitor obligations, funding, performance periods, and deliverables.
• Develop scalable contract-management policies, templates, and training; mentor staff.
