Falconwood Inc. is seeking a Capture Manager for a remote role focused on federal pursuits in the DC–Maryland–Virginia region. You will lead captures, assess customer needs, and develop win strategies while coordinating with BD, Operations, Proposals, Pricing, Finance, and Contracts.

The role requires 7–10 years of federal capture or proposal leadership, with familiarity in Shipley processes and tools like Salesforce and GovWin. A Secret or higher clearance is preferred for certain assignments.

• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple pursuits under deadlines.

• Lead assigned captures; maintain capture plans, milestones, action owners, and pursuit schedules aligned with BD priorities.
• Assess customer needs, funding, contract vehicles, timing, and ability to compete.
• Develop opportunity-specific win strategies, discriminators, value propositions, and win themes with customer insight.
• Plan and conduct customer, industry, and partner engagements; translate insight into capture actions.
• Assess incumbents, competitors, and teaming options; identify capability gaps and actions to strengthen pursuits.
• Develop teaming strategies and coordinate roles/agreements with BD, Operations, and Contracts.
• Lead capture reviews and bid/no-bid recommendations; present readiness, risks, and next steps.
• Coordinate technical/management solutions with Operations; validate staffing, delivery approach, and past performance.
• Work with Pricing on price-to-win analysis, labor mix, and competitive positioning.
• Coordinate responses to sources-sought and RFIs; provide documented handoff to Proposal Management.
• Support proposal strategy, reviews, and responses to government questions; maintain opportunity records and lessons learned.
• Ensure compliance with procurement ethics and organizational conflict of interest rules.
• Mentor BD team members as needed.
