Zusammenfassung

Hive Group, a HUBZone-certified SDVOSB, seeks an Editor / Technical Writer SME I to support the GSA Assisted Acquisition Services client. You will edit complex federal acquisition documents, SOPs, and strategic communications.

The role requires familiarity with FAR/DFARS, strong Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace skills, and experience integrating AI-assisted writing tools to improve content quality. Remote or hybrid work with on-site one day weekly for nearby staff.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• At least two years of professional editing/technical writing experience in federal acquisition.
• Fluent with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience using AI writing, research, and editing tools.

Aufgaben

• Execute high-quality reviews of Government acquisition documents, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with SOPs and templates.
• Refine technical content to remove ambiguity and improve clarity of the author's intent.
• Analyze complex requirements, identify risks, and propose solutions before final submission.
• Correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar; edit for consistency in style and tone.
• Review multiple documents, independently or with peers for quality control.
• Proofread and recommend revisions to improve readability and content quality.
• Collect metrics to enable trend analysis and process improvements.
