Job summary

Hive Group, LLC is seeking a meticulous Editor/Technical Writer SME I to support GSA AAS documents, SOPs, and strategic communications. The role requires familiarity with FAR/DFARS and strong Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace usage, plus AI-assisted editing.

Location offers remote or hybrid work; on-site one day weekly if near Hive Group HQ within 50 miles. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Business, Education, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience as an Editor, Technical Writer, Communications SME, or Acquisition SME, preferably in a Federal acquisition environment.
• Fluency in both Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; hands-on AI editing tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Edit complex Federal acquisition documentation, SOPs, and strategic communications with high accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Reorganize and refine technical content to ensure clarity and reduce ambiguity.
• Identify risks in acquisition documents and propose solutions prior to final submission.
